I am riding in the charity race at The Countryside Alliance race day on Friday 30th May at Newmarket. The charity race is the first race to be run on the July course this year. The race will take place at 12 noon and its an 8 furlong race with a flag start.

Riding in a charity race is something I've always wanted to participate in.  I work full time in racing for Neil King (a jumps trainer in Newmarket) and he was the one who suggested this race to me. Not only is it raising money for a good cause but I will be representing the Essex and Suffolk hunt. 

As well as riding out each morning, I've been swimming and running in a bid to get fit and ready for the race! Our stable jockey has also thrown a few tips and advice my way to help me on the 'big day'.

All  donations are gratefully received and id love to see you all there on the day to support me. Lets hope my first (and only) racecourse appearance is a successful one!!
