I am running my first half marathon this October to raise money for the Phoenix Stroke Unit. I believe every person deserves quality care and support and this is my way of giving a little bit more to the sufferers and survivors who have had a stroke.

The incentive of this marathon stems from a personal goal, the inspiration from a very close family member who passed away last year but also because I have the ability, strength and motivation to help others who are less able.
