Story
I was successful in an interview to be part of the Youth Exchange scheme, associated with Scottish Ballet Education. Being chosen for this project made be feel amazing. So far it has all been a wonderful experience and I am so excited for the rest of our course, and exchanging with the students in Singapore.
Within the course I am learning and developing new skills which will help me in my professional development as a dancer. Along with this is an amazing opportunity to share in another culture and experience different ways of dance training. In August this year I shall be travelling to Singapore with the Youth Exchange Group and be working closely with the Singapore School of the Arts (S.O.T.A) and The Human Expressions Company. I will be joining in their daily timetable throughout my two weeks, and our group will perform during our stay.
For this event we have all been asked to create our own funding to enable this visit. On the 27th June I shall be visiting my old dance school The Amy Hacket School of Dance in the South of England, to hold my fundraising event. I am looking forward to showing some dances within a performance and sharing some of my new found knowledge from this project with the young aspiring dancers of the school.
If you would also like to support my fundraising you may make a donation on this page, of which I would be immensely grateful for your support.
