Anna wants to help make a wig! · 4 July 2016

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Anna and I am 10 years old.  I live everyday with the struggles of Type 1 diabetes but constantly think of others before myself.

I hate having my haircut and will avoid it all costs. However I have decided that since my hair needs a chop why not go the whole hog and lose 12 inches.  What's the point in me having it cut and losing all my locks to the hairdressers dust pan and brush, when a child bravely fighting cancer could use it towards a wig?

Since donating my hair wouldn't raise funds, I am kindly asking for people to donate money so that we can send this with my hair and hopefully it can be used to help a child to have a day out somewhere fun?

Please, please...dig deep and give what you can. Any money raised is better than none at all.  I know it is only hair, but its my lovely long hair and I want to help make a difference.
