We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

5 of our friends, including 2 of Mums old school friends have been dealt the devastating blow of having breast cancer.  Ben Hobday and other riding friends  have also been diagnosed with this awful disease. Another friend lost her Mum to liver cancer only a month ago.

Cancer can hit anyone at any time, young, old, fit, unfit, it can take anyone and we want to raise money to enable Cancer Research UK find that cure.

I (Katie) have never been a runner, I am not built for running and until recently I couldn't run for 20 seconds let alone run 10 miles! I am doing this to raise as much money as I can and to show other older women and men that is it never to late to take up a challenge! There will be no record breaking times but it will be a huge achievement.

I (Olivia) ride horses for a living. I go to the gym to help with my strength and conditioning and I am not a runner! This will be a challenge for me too and I can't wait to take it on with my Mum.
