On Sunday June 10th, 2018, participants of the CARE programme will be completing a 10km walk through the Peak District to help raise money for Notts County FC Football in the Community (FITC).

Notts County FITC run a variety of projects across Nottinghamshire that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents by providing sport and physical activity programmes. The CARE programme is a fantastic scheme that provides support for people that have been affected by cancer.

The CARE physical activity programme helps improve participants physical strength, energy levels and psychological wellbeing whilst completing and/or following their cancer treatments. The CARE programme provides safe, effective, fun and sustainable physical activity that helps promote activity independence and quality of life. 

Supporting the CARE participants on the Tissington Trail Trek and fundraising for FITC will help contribute to future activity events that help support people affected by cancer. The walk will be a huge challenge and any support, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
