My mum and I are taking part in the Starlight Walk on Saturday 29th June, walking 10km (approx 6miles) in memory of my nan who passed away on 29th July 2011 at Isabel Hospice in W.G.C

We would like to raise as much money as possible to help support this amazing charity who not cared for my nan in her last few weeks but also supported myself, my grandad, my mum, my uncle and partner Sally through an extremely difficult time. The staff and nurses made it possible for us to ensure nan had the best care possible and also that we could be there with her at all times.

Losing my nan was the worst thing I've experienced so far but this charity helped me personally cope and grieve, and to see the support it gave my grandad was truly heartwarming.

Isabel Hospice is an independent body and is supported mainly by donations from the public. All care given by the Hospice is free to patients.
