Story

In November 2018 our colleague Stephanie Crawford lost her
19yr old son Bertie to suicide. Bertie was an individual people would gravitate
towards, loving smart, funny ,dependable , sensitive and caring . Bertie was
someone who would always notice when someone was down, going out of his way to
pick them back up. Bertie in life and death touched 100’s of lives of both
people young and old. As I’m sure you can all imagine the loss of Bertie has
been devastating to his family and friends , however in their darkest moments
of grieving for Bertie they have found solace in turning to the Samaritans who
have supported throughout.

On July 11th a team of people from the CCEP sales
teams will be challenging themselves to complete the national 3 peaks challenge
in order to raise money for the Samaritans in memory of Bertie. We will be climbing the
three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours.

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is
3064 meters (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the
Yorkshire Three Peaks.

The team tackling the challenge and more importantly
Stephanie and her family would all appreciate any donation to this fantastic
cause to help Samaritans help others avoid such devastation , be it large or
small
