The Drinks Trust is the charity dedicated to the drinks and hospitality workforce. It strives to empower our people through services designed to assist financially, restore well-being and develop skills, and to do so with compassion and respect.

Story

CGA Strategy are the leading on-trade consultants for GB & France. The CGA employees who will be competing in the Manchester 10k are: Katie Palfrey, Jamie Taylor, Andrew Cooper, Matt Davies, Rachel Perryman, Jamie Campbell, Alicia Burn, Luke Steers, Charlotte Downing, Matt Mullock, Rob Plant, Kai Helgard, Phil Montgomery, Rachael Chard, Matt Crompton, Sean Busby, Fiona Silver, Rob Hyman and Jennifer Stelfox.

CGA are fundraising on behalf of The Benevolent; The Drinks Industry Charity, which does an amazing job looking after people from the our trade facing serious issues such as cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and financial crisis.

 

The Benevolent was founded in 1886 with the mission to help our colleagues from the drinks industry facing serious medical or financial hardship. Today The Benevolent continues to be the heart of the UK drinks industry; providing high impact solutions - both in preventative and caring capacities - that improve the quality of living for members of the trade in need. In partnership with the drinks industry we work to combat serious social issues such as homelessness, poverty, addiction and disability in our community as well as providing practical, emotional and financial support to vulnerable members of our trade.
