Story
Whether you were at CJA for one year or twelve, you likely have some feelings tied to the beautiful, non-descript, blue and white building that hides behind the retainer wall at the corner of Glenmore and 14th st. And while that corner looks very different from when we graced the halls-- walking inside will bring you back.
No, you're not imaging it- you can still attend Mrs. Morgan's grade 4 class and the basement is still off limits.
If you're like me CJA is a distant memory whose lessons surface in the strangest of moments. It was an experience like non other, where our weirdness was celebrated, our field trips were consistently cancelled, and where our Jewish identities began to form.
I invite you to join me in supporting our school, the kosher popsicle stand-that for over 100 years has been serving the Calgary Jewish community. Your meaningful gift will support the next generation of CJA students as they become the leaders of tomorrow.
Though it might not be football bragging rights- the class that raises the most money, we will have the unique opportunity to name a classroom. If our class has the highest participation, each donor from our graduating class will receive a gift card to a place of your choosing.
