The CJD Support Network offers advice, information and support for patients, carers and professionals involved in any form of suspected or confirmed CJD. We offer emotional and practical support; disseminate new information as research develops and offer advice for those who may be deemed at risk.

Story

I’m six weeks away from Cycling from London 2 Paris - another challenge dreamt up over a few too many beers with the boys! However with every challenge we set, we aim to raise as much Wonga for charities that have either helped us or someone we know. On this occasion I will be raising money to support research in to CJD www.cjd.ed.ac.uk. We recently had to say our farewells to our close friend Andrew Macdonald (Andy Mac) who lost his battle with CJD. This charity supported not only Andy but his loving family and I look forward to supporting them by raising as much as possible. This challenge will consist of 210 miles across undulating terrain in 36hrs. Any donation will be fantastic and I thank you in advance. Please keep an eye on my progress with my updates throughout the ride. Wish Me Luck!
