Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Parkinson's Uk, Welwyn & Hatfield branch, was chosen as our branch charity of the year in June. Nominated by Karen Giannattasio as a cause close to her heart, her husband Mario has Parkinson's, there was a huge amount of support in branch from their colleagues.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit Abseil is the first event we're taking part in in aid of Parkinson's Uk. We also intend to create a walking event to coincide with Parkinson's awareness week next April.

The abseil group so far includes Karen & Mario Giannattasio, Aimee Philbey, Julia Durendec, Dan Hamley, Colin Clague, Louise Wenn, Val Fowler, Sarah Seal, Nikki Batchelor, Teresa Phelan, Dawn Clark, Michelle O'Hare, Gemma Carter, Sarah Curtis, Peter Baines, Babajide Fadairo, Caroline Nice, David Gosnell, Sean Cross, Liane Wells, Phil Muncer, Jayne Bricker, Amanda Risley & Michelle Dale.
