A group of North Berwick train companions, the 7:58 ers, are swapping the train for bikes and boots this May as they aim do their bit for charity by taking part in the annual Maggie’s Monster Bike and Hike Event on Saturday 5 May 2012.

Cliff Dryburgh, Ryan Telfer, David Cousland and Andrew Wilson will undertake a gruelling 31 mile cycle run followed by a 41.2 mile walk between Fort William and Inverness aiming to complete the entire route in around 18 hours to raise funds for Maggie’s Centres, a well known cancer charity which offers advice and support to people with cancer.

So please dig deep and donate now.
