Charcot-Marie-Tooth UK (formerly CMT United Kingdom) is the national support group for people affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, aka Hereditary Motor and Sensory Neuropathy. We provide advice, support and information for people with the condition, family, carers and medical professionals.

Story

1 in 2500 people have CMT and there is currently no known cure for this debilitating condition. So what's the motivation for us to walk 54 miles over 3 days when there's loads of other charities that could benefit from fundraising?...

It's just honestly and purely because it's close to our hearts. Our family is and has been affected by the condition and so many more can and will benefit from the funds we wish to raise. Put simply...

We take for granted the ability to move freely and especially to walk as just part of our everyday functions, so walking 54 miles may be a struggle but it goes nowhere near the struggle some may take in the day to day of living life. So...

In pride of our courageous children, in loving memory of their Father Dave and to those who suffer everyday, please donate whatever you can.

All our Love Carl & Jo ❤
