Lynn's friend, Sarah Turner, is swimming 40 lengths every day for 40 days from her 40th birthday on 27 September to raise funds for a new hydrotherapy pool for the Percy Hedley Foundation. Sarah has challenged a different friend to swim with her each day and to raise £40 to support her cause. Although I've not met Sarah, she's doing a great thing to help raise funds for a worthwhile so I've volunteered to do my bit and swim with her on 22nd October. My hope is that I can persuade a few of my friends to donate just £1, so that I can help Sarah reach her target of £2,000. £1 is not a lot of money - it's just slightly more than a chocolate bar from the vending machine. I would be very grateful if you could take the time to donate.
