Story

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page. Dr. Peter Lautch, of the Waterfield House Partnership, has kindly agreed to run in the London Marathon to raise the pofile and funds for COMPAID Trust.

Peter saw an article in which we were appealing for a volunteer to run on behalf of COMPAID Trust and generously offered to help. Peter said, "I decided to support a local charity because of the direct benefit to people living and working in the local community".

Peter is not a new comer to this strenuous activity, he has competed in the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon, Hastings Half Marathon and trains with the Tunbridge Wells Harriers. He also ran in the Amsterdam event.

Peter's training involves running at least 4 times a week of distances of 15 miles per session no less. His colleagues are surprised that he enjoys this very demanding exercise as relaxation. In fact many of them think he is mad.  We don't, we wish him all the best and will be cheering him all the way.

On behalf of the staff, clients and volunteers I would like to thank Peter for agreeing to represent COMPAID Trust and ask you all to give generously to allow us to offer our much needed services to many more deserving individuals.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Peter: COMPAID Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor Peter now!

Many thanks for your support.
