In keeping with its brand promise to be Here for good, particularly in times of adversity, Standard Chartered PLC (the Group) has launched a $50million COVID-19 Charitable Fund providing assistance to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Group is immediately donating $25 million to support emergency relief in its most affected markets. The additional $25 million will help communities over the medium term to recover from the economic impact of the virus. It will match contributions made by employees through its Give One Day employee payroll giving campaign and other donors to meet the $50 million target.

Donations to the Standard Chartered Foundation will be distributed to leading non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and charity partners to support economic recovery.

This fundraising page has been set up for Standard Chartered's contractors, non-employed workers and other generous donors who wish to contribute to the Standard Chartered Foundation's efforts to help communities by providing opportunities for better livelihoods through employability and entrepreneurship programmes, and increased learning through education programmes.
