The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation and Maggie's are involved in an ambitious fundraising campaign to bring a Maggie's Centre to Aberdeen for families affected by cancer across Grampian.

To make the new centre a reality, Monty’s Maggie’s charity needs to raise £3m and is currently one third of the way towards reaching its goal.
Today an increasing number of people are diagnosed with cancer.

One in three of us is likely to receive a diagnosis in our lifetime meaning, sadly, very few of us will not be touched by this devastating illness. In Grampian alone over 3,000 people are diagnosed each year, but Aberdeen is the only NHS cancer site in Scotland without a Maggie’s Centre.
