Together we are raising money to support Huntingdonshire Children’s Charity Dreamdrops.

The Dreamsdrops charity supports Hitchingbrook Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit and Children’s (Holly) Ward as well as helping improve ‘at home’ support for children with specialist health needs.

The Dreamdrops team have a number of projects for which they would like support including the purchasing and installation of a pain distraction unit to improve the experience of children needing important scans and undergoing painful treatments, as well as improvements which are required to be made to the parents’ room attached to the Special Care Baby Unit. This room enables parents to stay with their baby at the hospital to allow them to get used to independently managing their baby’s care needs before being discharged making the transition home much easier, sometimes after months of hospital care.
