Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Ride Across Britain - 969 miles. Lands End to John O'Groats with my good friend Richard Spofforth takes place 8th - 16th September 2012

I spent the first ten years of my life in and out of children’s hospitals. I know how important they are. I know the difference they make. I also know how much they need funding.

So I’m getting on my bike for the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, to say thank you and to raise some much needed money for the wonderful work they do.

I’m going to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats in nine days. My aim is to raise £969 – that’s £1 for every mile of my journey.

I’ve been training for the challenge since last October: since then, I’ve covered over 2,900 miles and spent 218 hours on my bike. On 8 September, the real test will start!

Rockinghorse makes life better for thousands of children in Sussex and Surrey.
You can help them by sponsoring me with whatever small change you can spare.
