Cardiff Half Marathon 2019 · 6 October 2019 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting our page. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target.

We are proud to announce that Paul Morton, Aled Jones, Sandra Johnson, Sharon Osbourne, Carys Williams, Sioned Taylor, Dan Coombes, Hannah Clark, Lissie Brierley and Megan Vaughan have decided to take on the challenge to run Cardiff Half Marathon this October to support our charity of the year, British Heart Foundation. This is a huge commitment and challenge, especially for those of our members who have never run this distance before!

Many of our staff and the running team have been affected by the terrible consequences of heart conditions. This is why British Heart Foundation is so close to our hearts at Cadwaladers and the reason why we are so passionate about raising money for this wonderful cause.

Please give what you can to help support our runners and contribute to this great charity. 76p from every £1 will be spent on life saving research. The rest is invested to grow the BHF income.
