We support adults who’ve had foster care or residential care experience. We’re here to make sure that anyone with care experience can get the support they need to help them achieve their maximum potential.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group of Family Court Advisers,  Children's Guardians and support staff  working in the family courts to improve and shape the lives of children and young people at times of great need and emotional stress.

The organiser has chosen to support the Rees Foundation, because it supports children, young people and care experienced adults throughout their lives, no matter what their age or circumstances. Often, care experienced people have long lasting trauma or ongoing support needs, which are forgotten once they have exited from the care system. This charity exists to ensure that nobody feels that they are alone when help is needed.   The organiser is also a care experienced adult and so the charity also means a lot to him personally.

We will be doing a charity run on 9th October 2021 in Birmingham. We are a mixed ability group and some will run, some will jog and others will walk. Collectively, we hope to cover between 50-100K in just one afternoon! So please, sponsor us to help us feel motivated to train and achieve for this very worthwhile charity!
