We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Caiden was Born on Friday 14th September 2012 and came home and had 2 special days with us.  He was taken into hospital on Monday 17th September for tests to be done to find that he was still a normal healthy baby.

On Tuesday 18th September, Caiden was taken by the ANTS team from Norwich to Great Ormond Street Hospital with a high ammonia level of 5000. Doctors at Great Ormond Street had never seen a level this high. On Wednesday 19th September we was told that Caiden was brain dead and paralyzed so we took the most difficult decision to turn the machines off.  We had 5 days in total with our special little boy who was a fighter right till the end.  Caiden is now a shining star.
