Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Tough mudder again this year in memory of my amazing dad. My dad was a fit and healthy police officer who was an amazing dad and loving husband to my beautiful mum. In 2011 our lives changed forever as my dad was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Motor neurone disease is an awful disease in which results in the sufferer being unable to walk, talk, breath properly, eat and live a normal life, ending in death. MND attacks certain cells in the brain and spinal cord needed to keep your muscles moving.

At the age of 11 this news broke my heart knowing he will not be here to see me graduate from university, get married or ever meet his grandchildren.

On June 20th 2015 at 14.41pm my dad passed away surrounded by every family and friend that meant the most. Since being ill he made a huge impact for the MNDA by raising over £50,000 to help other people.

Just before he died, he set up his own charitable trust called the Treble One Trust, which is there to help people in Leicestershire and Rutland who also suffer with motor neurone disease.

I hope that you all find the love in your hearts to donate to my just giving page and help all those other sufferers of motor neurone disease to have the best possible life they can given the circumstances.

If you would like to take part feel free to personally message me for more details.
