Thank you for taking the time to visit the fundraising page we set up in honour of our beautiful daughter, Caitlyn, who died from meningitis a month before her 21st birthday. Caitlyn recently became an Ambassador for Just Like Us which helps young LGBT+ people navigate the difficulties of growing up in a society that continues to discriminate. Although Caitlyn was taken away from us before she could fully embrace her new role, through your donations, we hope that others will be able to do what she can't. Your help in her honour will be gratefully appreciated.

UPDATE:

On the 2nd September 2023, Caitlyn's father, uncle and some close family friends are riding the 160 miles from the Garden Cafe in Hove, West Sussex to Starwing Brewery in Redgrave, Norfolk in a single day to continue to raise money in her honour. We have chosen the start and end points because Caitlyn worked at both, the former whilst at uni and the latter in her gap year.
