Story

Caldicott staff form Gumball Challenge team to cycle and run the Gumball Rally course in aid of Great Lakes Outreach

Things are shaping up for our inaugural Gumball Rally and what a fantastic day it is going to be!

Driving Teams: From Land Rovers to VW Camper Vans, to Aston Martins and Le Mans Bentleys, the starting line-up is set to provide us with a wonderfully eclectic range of cars who will then undertake the rally challenge. Each team will be sponsored by their friends and families, so do give them lots of support.

Caldicott boys will be able to sign up to their “favourite” team. All teams and their cars will be put on a poster in the courtyard at the start of next term and boys will be able to put their name down to sponsor their chosen team. After the rally, all entries who selected the winning car will be entered into a raffle draw for a really fantastic prize: a Jaguar F-Type for the weekend!!

Staff Gumball Challenge Team: to add another thrilling element to the event, our very own team of Caldicott staff will be undertaking a fundraising challenge by running and cycling the Gumball Rally course at the same time as the driving teams on Sunday 28th April. Will it be possible for them to complete the course before the first car reaches the chequered flag? The staff team will be - Mr Zengerink, Mr Timms and Mr Legget.
