To carry on with a successful campaign to raise awareness of testicular cancer and fundraise for the Bright charity. We have chosen two charties , to join forces to promote awareness and fundraise for The Bright Charity and The NSPCC. 

We are Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust Staff, from Wanbeck General Hospital. Working together, walking together for children and families who are going through hard times. So far we have a team of 10, who are ready to face the challenge.

We are training hard to prepare mentally and physically for the challenge. The trek will last 4 day and 3 nights if all goes to plan. We will start in Carlisle A&E department, Walking between every major Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust sites en route, making stops at Hexham, North Tyneside, The New Emergency Care Hospital at Cramlington, before ending our fantastic journey at Wansbeck General Hospital accident and emergency department.

We have events such as tom-bolas, practice hikes arranged to promote our cause. Our first tom-bola is taking place on the 27th May 2014 in the main entrance of Wansbeck General Hospital.

All Donations will be split 50/50 between the two charities. Please remember to gift aid any donations that way the charities will benefit that little more!
