In October my mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Since then,

she has undergone two operations, 6 rounds of Chemotherapy and has now started her course of Radiotherapy. Thanks to the Bolton NHS fund and the amazing work at the Churchill Unit and Evergreen Suite at Bolton Hospital that have provided her with efficient treatment and support, our family wouldn’t be at the stage we are today. On the 10^th of October this year me and Sam Summerscales will be running the Manchester Marathon for our charities to give something back so that we can show our appreciation for their continuing effort. All the donations will go directly to the Churchill Unit and Evergreen Suite at Bolton Hospital.  Our training is well underway, with Southport half Marathon and a Lakes fell race booked to maintain fitness throughout the course of the training.
