On the 17th of April I am taking part in the Bicester Sprint Triathlon for Dementia UK. 

Dementia is a condition associated with an ongoing decline of the brain and its abilities. For people with dementia and those who care for them it can be a very upsetting and stressful time in their lives. Dementia UK provide specialist support through their unique Admiral Nurses who work hand in hand with families, helping them cope with uncertainty and difficult everyday reality of dementia.

This cause is very personal to me due to caring on a daily basis with those who suffer with dementia and seeing a close family member struggle with this illness.
