Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023 · 30 April 2023 ·

Helping homeless people to help themselves. We provide immediate crisis assistance including food, clothing, showers, laundry facilities, sleeping bags, advice, advocacy, and of course a warm welcome. In the long term we help people get out of their desperate situations and move on with their lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am taking part in the Glasgow 2023 Kiltwalk doing the Big Stroll (14.3mile) walk with a team of colleagues in our SThree Glasgow office. Team page available at:

https://www.justgiving.com/team/sthreekiltwalkers

We are doing this as a collective team effort and raising funds for one of our ESG charity partners based out of Glasgow , The Marie Trust. The Marie Trust are based out of premises in Albion Street in the City and provide front-line services to the homeless. As well as aiming to provide safe accomodation the charity look to support and encourage development , looking at providing opportunities in volunteering / education. For most of my time with SThree we have partnered with the Marie Trust and I feel doing the KiltWalk as a collective team is a great way to give back.

Myself and the team included are grateful for any donations to the effort and I look forward to sharing how the journey goes with you all.
