Story

On November 18th 2001, i unfortunately lost my dad after a long battle with bowel cancer when i was just 4 years old. Its not something i've ever really come to terms with, more i've learnt to live with it. However, i have always wanted to do something to help ,and never really known what to do to contribute towards the awareness and eventual defeat of this disease. So after some deliberation; i have chosen to shave my head. To many people that shave their heads on a regular basis, this may seem mundane but for me, someone that has very few assets when it comes to appearance, losing my hair is helping no-one - except Bowel Cancer UK! Whether its 1p or £1 everything is a massive help and it would mean so much to me. The fact is, it's not about me, it's about beating this cruel and unforgiving disease that affects millions of people around the world.
