Story
Dear Friends,
We're back! From November 13 to 16 November, we walked Hadrian's Wall in aid of our very favourite charity, For a Child's Smile! Along with our two dogs, Patsy and Bella, we trekked across a large part of this beautiful Roman wall, which crosses the entire country, representing approximately 15 miles per day. Blisters, sore legs and wet and cold weather aside, we finished this epic walk on Sunday evening, 16th November.
Just before leaving on our walk, a devastating flood hit the Phnom Penh region, sweeping away hundreds of homes. Very poor families, with already so very few possessions lost everything. PSE/For a Child's Smile is helping them rebuild their lives as I write this. Thanks to your generous donations we are getting closer to our target of £5000. The rebuilding of one house for a family cost the charity £1200. With your help, we have saved 1 family so far! We would love to help 2 more. Please encourage us by donating what you can to our just giving page. Every little bit helps! We would be ever so grateful!
