Since 2011, our healthcare outreach programme has helped more than 30,000 people who struggle to receive medical care in rural parts of Kenya. We run regular clinics giving the poorest and most isolated communities an opportunity to receive free treatment and advice. 

Our amazing team of dedicated UK medical volunteers work alongside the Ministry of Health, local medical teams and volunteers, the Red Cross and community stakeholders to offer 8 mobile medical clinics in rural villages across the Tsavo region over a two-week period in November. Meanwhile, another UK medical team offers support in local hospitals, such as Kwale Eye Centre, offering life-saving treatment and surgery where needed.

We aim to treat as many people as we can and each year, provide medical care to thousands of people that are unable to receive treatment due to lack of funding, resources or support. Conditions vary and may include tooth extractions, cataract surgery, eye tests, and treatment for parasites. We also run clinics on nutritional awareness, sexual health screening and advice, and dental hygiene for children. 

However, resources are limited and we are dependent on donations to pay for essential drugs and equipment. 

This year we urgently need to raise a minimum of £3,000 for the following:
