A few of us decided to take on this run with just a couple weeks to go in the name of a very worthwhile cause. We set ourselves some goals. 

Update post the race...

Early starts, no starts / taxi delays! and questionable starts for Cindy, Fallon & Fadwa :-) - Sunday's race had it all on a perfect morning among thousands of runners! Super happy with the funds raised by an incredible team and its supporters in such a short space of time. Huge well done to & a massive thanks to everyone that supported to make a difference. 

Some individual updates...

Alwyn - hot off the heels of the Cape Town marathon, cruised through another half marathon! Super awesome fan base supported all the way!

Fallon / Cindy / Fadwa -  5 km done (after a little persuasion from Fallon), got the support underway that got us to our donations goal! Awesome team effort and dressed up for the occasion.

Phil -dusted off his shoes after a year of not running and made the sub 1hr 50 half marathon target with just 4 weeks prep. Not the ideal way to do it but the donations and knowing where it will go provided all the motivation needed to get over the line!

The only question is what's next..... impi ;-)
