8k run + 2k urban navigation
The race begins as a group start with a loop around the Bay that will take competitors over the famous Cardiff Barrage. They will then wind their way around the historic buildings and monuments of Cardiff Bay in search of check points.
24k trail cycle + 10K mtb
Transitioning in Cardiff Bay to bikes, competitors will soon find themselves with a wonderful view of Cardiff from the top of Caerphilly mountain. Here they will set off on the mountain bike phase with some push bike climbs and fast single track descents.
3k kayak
Back in the Bay competitors will exchange bikes for kayaks for the final stage. Here they will negotiate a course of buoys on double sit-on-top kayaks.
