Carl died peacefully at home on Wednesday 9th July 2014 with his family around him after a battle with prostate cancer over 18 months. His cancer was particularly aggressive in nature and we would like to support Prostate Cancer UK in their work to prevent other families going through the same difficulty . Carl had already raised money for the charity after completing the London Marathon in 2013 plus 3 half marathons last October. Anyone who was touched by his kindness and good spirit would be welcome to make a donation.
