I'm running the Stratford half marathon to raise money for a local charity that is struggling to pay its heating bills, my mom runs this community centre completely voluntary and has done for the last 30 years, at the same time as working full time, having four children of her own and 11 grand children. Many nights I have know mom to be still mopping the floors, cleaning and tidying up after a party/function at gone midnight, so that it was ready for the next group to use the next morning, this hard work and commitment has helped members of the community out for all these years, so many people in the local and wider community have relied on this venue at some point, from children's playgroups, fitness classes, over 50's groups to having it as a polling station. Mom gives so much support and time to local residents and users of the community centre, she always has other people's interests at heart, putting everyone before herself,  So please sponsor me to help an inspirational woman help the community further and raise money to pay the heating bills and make essential improvements to keep the centre open. The community centre recieves not council funding therefore any sponsorship and donations will make a big difference and be very gratefully received. Thank you. X
