My mom works for Allied Electronics and Automation (Electrocomponents), a company that has chosen to partner with The Washing Machine Project and The Washing Machine Project Foundation as their first global charity partner. This small charity has developed an innovative, off-grid solution to help people in hard-hit communities worldwide wash their clothes. Both the company and the charity share an ambition to inspire a more sustainable world through education and innovative solutions that improve lives. I am excited to support this charity by joining in and raising funds as part of my Junior year civil engagement project.
