With the odd exception, Neil, Donal and Mike, we are a bunch of really old geezers who are attempting to complete the London to Cambridge bike ride.

Some of us have done this before, while some, Carl, Gerry, Dave and Paul, have only ever cycled downhill to the pub, (and two of them were riding 'Croggy'), so facing 60 miles of hills and motorists is a daunting task.

I know in these difficult times charity begins at home, but sadly most of us have a friend or family member who has been affected by breast cancer. It is an all to common illness these days, and the more money that is raised for research into finding a cure, the sooner we will achieve the aim of irradicating it.
