As many of you will know I am built for comfort and not speed!! And no records are going to be smashed. I am just wanting to get round! But I wanted to set myself a challenge in memory of my beloved father who passed away at Arthur Rank Hospice in December 2014. The care that my father and family received through a variety of services provided from Arthur Rank were simply the best. 

I am also a nurse at Arthur Rank so being on the other side gave me an opportunity to see just how vital these services are and what a difference our new £10 million plus hospice will make. Having a purpose built hospice which has 24 beds and all the facilities a hospice needs and more will mean we have a chance to make a difference to many more people. We still need £3.3 million and with your generosity you can help to make a difference
