In memory of our late friend Robert Pascoe who sadly passed away in a mountaineering accident, we (a group of Rob's family and friends) are climbing Helvellyn to raise money for Patterdale Mountain Rescue who are now very close to our hearts.

The Patterdale mountain rescue team were dispatched to help Robert after his tragic accident. They coordinated the search for Robert and we truly thank them for their work and the personal risks they took. They are one of the busiest search and rescue teams in England and are resourced entirely of volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, whatever the weather, 365 days a year. They rely on donations to operate on a daily basis and we would like all of our donations for this sponsored walk go towards their continued efforts to search and rescue.
