On the 13th May 2019, my Mum, Carole Jackson passed away in Trinity Hospice after a short, but intense battle with lung cancer which had sadly metastasised to her brain. 

Anyone who has ever met my mum will know that she was OBSESSED with Paddington Bear, who if you didn’t know came from Peru.. I spoke with her jokingly when she was in Trinity about doing this trek, to take all of her Paddington bears home where they belong and she agreed I should go. 

As a woman of my word, here I am, going to visit Paddington bear in his homeland in memory of my mum in September 2021 (initially was October 2020 but Covid ruined that for us so keep your fingers and toes crossed this time we get there)!
