Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.

Story

On Sunday 20 March, six members of staff from Bliss will each be running the 2011 Reading Half Marathon to raise money for babies born too soon, too small or too sick.

Carmel Bartley, Carly Simmons, Julia Kouyoumdjian, Katie Knight, Katie Simmons and Mark Gorman have been training hard for the gruelling 13.1 mile course and we want you to dig deep and donate money for special care babies.

Whatever the amount, we'll be truly grateful for anything you are able to donate - every penny goes towards improving the lives of premature and sick babies.

For more information on special care babies or how you can get involved more, go to www.bliss.org.uk

Thank you from all of us for your support!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
