For those of you that know us, you will appreciate that we have to dig deep after dropping our kiddies off to actually go for a run at all rather than going to Waitrose for a cheeky coffee instead! 

So when I suggested to the girls that we should attempt a half marathon,  they laughed out loud and avoided eye contact with me for the next few weeks. However, I knew deep down they would love it so I registered them all on the Pumpkin Half and then told them the good news!

The main motivation for this challenge is to raise as much money for our chosen charity, Wishes 4 Kids. Running 13 miles may seem like a major challenge but it is nothing compared to the challenges that the children Wishes 4 Kids help face every day.

My husband Muzzy, has been a Patron for Wishes 4 Kids for around 6 years after being asked if he would meet an incredible humbling young lady, Louise who touched all our lives. Supporting this hardworking local charity means that they can continue to grant wishes for such brave and poorly children. These experiences are so important, not only for the children but their families too who will be able to keep the happy memories forever.

We would be so grateful if you could spare anything at all to help raise money for Wishes 4 Kids and keep us going over the long 13 miles ahead....it really will make a difference!
