Story
The Anderton family have been fantastically brave - must be where Jude picked up his wonderful attitude and resilience - shooting the breeze just like any other 12 year old while watching Rango on the TV!
That's the image that will stay with me - Jude watching TV surrounded by his loving family.
A handful of weeks later Jude had succumbed to bone cancer - an aggressive form of the disease that needs funding to help in identifying a cure.
I'm looking to draw on friends within the local grassroots football community in helping complete a 12 hour football marathon. Plenty of teams have already put themselves forward to help us play a continuous game of football on Sunday 6th May 2018 from 7am to 7pm on Moorside Rangers JFC astropitch - M27 9LS.
And while they play we'd like you to come an support if you can or donate (do both if you can) with all monies raised going towards the Bone Cancer Trust so it can help the research needed to successfully beat this type of cancer in the future.
Thank You!
