To start with I want to thank you for taking the time to look at my web page. I am raising funds for the MND association as the charity supported my mum through her illness. My mum was diagnosed with MND back in 2008. Unfortunately the disease was very aggressive and debilitated her in so many ways that as time progressed she was unable to do the things she loved such as knitting or sewing, even filing her nails was impossible. Eventually she was unable to get about independently. My mum fought as much as she could througout her illness but in April 2010 she lost her fight. I have to say that my mum was such an insipiration to me and to many people who knew her. She was such a strong, supportive, caring and loving person. No words can discribe how much she meant not just to myself but also my family. There is not a day goes by that I don't think about her, she will be forever in my heart. I miss her so much. I know that my mum was grateful for the support she recieved from the MND association and now it is my turn or should I say our turn to give something back. Thank you for your support.
