Amanda, Emma and Tony are joining me to walk across the Isle of Wight in memory of Kevin who died in Countess Mountbatten Hospice in January. Kevin and I would have celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary on 16th May, so we thought we would mark this day by walking from Bembridge to Carrisbrooke on Saturday 15th May and Carrisbrooke to Alum Bay on Sunday 16th May to raise money for the 'Countess Mountbatten Hospice'.

It is about 26.5 miles across the Isle of Wight, more than any of us have walked in a week probably. I look at it as 4 rounds of golf but without chasing that little white ball!
