Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On June 8th I will be returning to Uganda, but this time will be visiting Jinja, Uganda, with a team of volunteers, including my Dad, to distribute wheelchairs to many needy children and adults.
People are isolated and seen as outcasts because of health problems and poor mobility. The poor cannot afford healthcare or any aids. By giving them a wheelchair they are able to get to their workplace (not beg on the roadside). Children are able to get to school to learn and play with their friends (not be housebound). Families are released from the burden of having to carry their loved ones.
We not only give them a wheelchair but we give them a bible and share the message of the good news of Jesus. We tell them of Someone who loves them and how special they are to God.
So if you are able to contribute, your help would assist me in getting over there to give the gift of a wheelchair. This would be AMAZING!
