My son Alexander was a very poorly baby.  After multiple visits to the doctors we met a locum who suggested blood tests.  After 3 1/2 years we finally got the diagnosis that he had Coeliac Disease. The only treatment for this auto immune disease is a gluten free diet.   Coeliac UK do an amazing job of raising awareness (as many as 1 in 100 in the UK), campaigning for clear food labels, working with restuarants, on going research as well as supporting 60,000 current members which is growing each month.
