As you all may be aware Carol has Myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow, first diagnosed in September 2009 with a Plasmacytoma tumour on her Spine. Since then, and after breaking her leg two years ago, the underlying Myeloma became active and needed treatment which  consisted of four cycles of oral chemotherapy followed by very aggressive chemotherapy and a stem-cell transplant last April. The disease is now in Serological remission (asleep at the moment) and we are getting on with our lives - but are extremely grateful to all the research and support from MyelomaUk which has enabled us to be celebrating our Ruby Anniversary, something we did not imagine at first diagnosis nearly 4 years ago.
